    20 Professional, semi-professional dance companies and artists of diverse styles perform on the San Diego Union Tribune stage before an estimated crowd of 10,000

    June 26 – 30th PGK Dance SUMMER INTENSIVE
    5 days: Ballet, “Horton” inspired Contemporary/Modern Technique, Performance Skills, PGK Dance Repertory, Composition.  Lectures and guest talks on: Career Development, Teaching, Dance-Making, Art & Economics.

    Participants Perform 2 works they learn at our annual, sold out:
    “Welcome to Summer” performance in Balboa Park on Friday, June 30th at 730pm.
    *
    Faculty and Choreographers include:
    Peter Kalivas (Ailey II, Sean Curran Company/NYC, among others across the US/Abroad, award winning choreographer, sought after Master Teacher, Lecturer, Founding Director The PGK Project)

    PGK Dance Company Members with soon to be announced guest artists who have previously included: Kim T. Davis, Michael Nickerson-Rossi (Artistic Director Nickerson-Rossi Dance), Gunta Liepina (Fulbright Scholar/Latvia), Michael Medcalf (former principal dancer Cleo Parker Robinson/Denver), Denise Enriquez (original member of the Belize National Dance Company/Central America).

    VIDEO SUBMISSIONS must be received by the same day sent along with Resume and head/dance shot.

    VIDEO SHOULD INCLUDE: 15 minutes each of:
    Class Work (any style), at least one section across the floor
    Some Performance Footage up to 2 minutes Maximum.
    NONE needs to be High Production or edited, just visible.

    REGISTRATION FEES DUE: April 15th (50% non-refundable)
    BALANCE DUE May 1st
    $400 for one week (includes performance)
